Students for ACA

Animal Awareness Club – Modul University Vienna:
Animal Care Austria says, THANK YOU!

The Animal Awareness Club, Modul University Vienna, purchased food and brought handmade toys to Animal Care Austria’s Betriebstätte in 1020, Vienna.

Ivona Katchamakova, the president of the Animal Awareness Club, and the other club members, were greeted by Animal Care Austria founder, Carol Byers, and her two rescued Basset Hounds, Oliver and Emily. Oliver and Emily enthusiastically confirmed that the toys were a big success! The donations were taken to Hungary and shared with ACA’s shelter dogs there.

Thank you, Animal Awareness Club, for your thoughtfulness, and for calling attention to animal welfare and to the needs of rescued dogs.

University student, Ines Ziegler, was asked by a friend to help ACA with a CARE DAY project.  She was so enthusiastic about ACA's work, she decided to use ACA as the basis for her thesis at the Werbe Akademie WIFI Wien.  After several interviews with ACA founder and president, Carol Byers, and after researching ACA's website, Ines used her marketing education at the Werbeakademie Wien to develop a marketing strategy for ACA.   She successfully received her Bachelor in Marketing Management in 2021 using ACA as the basis for her work. The marketing tools and measures outlined in this thesis extend into a new area of promotion for Animal Care Austria.  New donors can be reached and more awareness for the animal welfare cause can be generated.

Through the work on this project, Ines was invited to become a part of the ACA team and is looking forward to implementing her knowledge towards the grow of the organization.  Congratulations, Ines, and thank you.
