Project Hungary - Help for Animals and People

Since 2006, Animal Care Austria has been working intensively in Hungary. With meticulous planning and inexhaustible dedication, ACA has assisted its five Hungarian partner-organizations in rescuing thousands of animals. We want to continue supporting our friends in neighboring countries, who are equally relentless in their work to advance animal welfare.

Two of the larger long-term projects of Animal Care Austria in Hungary have required a great deal of financial investment for development and upkeep: the privately owned rescue-stations in Lovasberény (“Kóborka”) and in Kiskunlacháza (Ebsegély Alapítvány). Financial support, building projects, animal rescue, medical care, puppy stations, castrations, doghouse donations, dog training, adoptions, Care Days and "Improving the Human-Animal Relationship" all require planning and development - which is exactly what Animal Care Austria has done on a daily basis since 2006. This work in turn has helped ACA gain international recognition as an animal welfare organization.

Since the founding of Animal Care Austria our motto has been: For every animal who finds a home in Austria, another animal in the country of its origin will be castrated! Only through rigorous ongoing castration programs can we prevent millions of unplanned and unwanted creatures from coming into the world. Castration and animal welfare education are the only means by which we can achieve an end to the unnecessary suffering of animals.

Please help us out by making a donation in support of our castration program. Help to reduce the suffering of animals in our neighboring countries.
