Olivia Kainz is studying to become a medical doctor and lives together in Vienna with mechanical and industrial engineering student, Philip, and their dog, Nala. Olivia grew up with a rescued mixed-breed dog named Nelli and four cats. Hence, her love for animals, and her understanding and dedication to animals in need. Already as a small child, Olivia was concerned about the welfare of animals. She even managed to free fish from a bucket, much to the anger of the fishermen who had just caught them. Orphaned kittens were rescued, and she had the wonderful experience of raising an abandoned fawn.

In March of 2018, as Oliva and her partner, Philip, adopted their Serbian dog, Nala, their interest in Animal Care Austria's work developed. Olivia drove with Svilos project leaders, Tessa Keglevic and Willfried Fuchs, to the Serbian shelter where her dog had been rescued. There, her enthusiasm for the great work being done for the dogs in the shelter convinced her to become a part of the Svilos team. Olivia travels several times a year to the shelter with donations and to photograph the dogs who need to be adopted. Sometime Philip joins her in bringing donations to the shelter and caring for the dogs there. Oliva spends a lot of time with the dogs in order to write about their personalities and characters.

She prepares videos and advertisements, and tries to present each dog with great detail and love. Together with the Animal Care Austria Svilos Shelter Team, Olivia's goal is to make possible a happy future for the shelter dogs in Svilos.
