Pula (vormals Koala)

Hi Carol,

We renamed her "Pula" - and 3 weeks later, she's doing great!

We are 3 lucky beings - with Jerry and I feeling like the luckiest of the three. Pula is loving, playful, mischievous, and smart - and it's already hard to remember life before she was part of our family. :)

Pula is now completely potty trained, knows her name, knows how to "sit" - and we're working on "stay". When she's not roaming the wonderful network of trails and hills north of the city of Zagreb several times daily, she's intermittently playing with her many new toys or sleeping in one of her comfy beds.

We've also taken Pula to 2 Zagreb dog parks; seeing her run gleefully off leash, chasing and playing with other dogs, is sheer joy.

We took Pula to a veterinarian her first week with us, and kudos to Animal Care Austria - the doctor said he had never examined a shelter animal for the first time who already had all his/her shots, chip, passport, etc. He was very impressed!
